Daily News publisher The New York Times and production company Left/Right are all set to release 'Framing Britney Spears', the latest documentary which will focus on the rise and falls of Spears over the years. The film will also focus on the recent court battles over her father, Jamie Spears’, conservatorship and the Free Britney movement.

According to promo copy, “The New York Times Presents: Framing Britney Spears re-examines her career and offers a new assessment of the movement rallying against her court-mandated conservatorship, capturing the unsavory dimensions of the American pop-star machine.”

FX Documentaries tweeted on Thursday, January 21, "Her phenomenal rise to superstardom. A downfall that shocked the world. And now, an ensuing conservatorship battle. #NYTPresents: Framing Britney Spears. Premiering Feb. 5 on @FXNetworks and @Hulu."



 

Release date

The documentary will premiere on February 5, 2021.
