Spoilers for 'Filthy Rich'

In this episode of 'Filthy Rich' titled '2 Corinthians 3:17' we see fake Jason aka Mark (Mark L Young) walk into the Monreaux home as matriarch Margaret Monreaux (Kim Cattrall) is discussing the $6 million checks she's giving each of Eugene Monreaux's (Gerald McRaney) kids. Keep in mind that Mark has been posing as Jason to get the money from the Monreaux family because the real Jason was in a coma.

In the last episode, the real Jason had woken up and asked his brother Mark to help end his life — he couldn't walk and didn't want to be trapped on Earth, he wanted to go to heaven. In this episode, Jason (aka Mark) walks in telling everyone that his brother "Mark" (aka the real Jason) had passed away. Of course, Rose Monreaux (Aubrey Dollar) was the only one who knew that the Jason walking around the Monreaux household was in fact Mark and they are even in a relationship.

So, when "Jason" comes walking in breaking this news, Rose is absolutely shocked because she saw the real Jason in Colorado a few days ago. Asking to speak to him in private, Rose ends up in a small argument with Mark, who seems to be in a very upset mood. We know why though — besides the fact that his brother had died, he had a hand in helping make sure his brother got his wish.

Rose tells Mark that he should come out with his real identity and they shouldn't be hiding anymore. However, Mark is insistent on the fact that he's no one — he has no money, his family is in debt and he might go to jail for impersonating his brother: "Why would anybody want to be Mark?" he asks Rose. Rose tells him because "Mark has me!" All Mark wants to do is to take the cash from Margaret and go back to Colorado.

With that, Mark leaves the home asking Veronica (Gia Carides) for a ride into town. Now, we know from the previous episode that Veronica is the real Jason's mother. In this episode, Franklin Lee (Steve Harris) reveals that to Margaret — she now knows one of her husband's baby mama's. Mark, who is now sitting in the car with Veronica doesn't know that she is Jason's mother — so he confides in her.

Veronica ends up telling him that he needs to speak to a man of God and takes him to Reverend Paul Luke Thomas (Aaron Lazar) so he can "heal" Mark. When he's there, Veronica who thinks Mark is Jason ends up telling him that she's his mother and she was going to give him her 32% ownership of the Sunshine Network if he lets God lift him up.

With the $6 million check, he got from Margaret for being Eugene's son, and now with these shares, that makes Mark quite a rich man. So, will he still break up with Rose now that he finds out who Jason's mother is? Does this mean that he will come clean and tell Veronica that he's Mark, and Jason is actually now dead? We don't know but we don't think that Mark will now break up with Rose and ruin what's going good for him.

Unfortunately, though, Mark did get himself into a bit of trouble when he decided to confess to Paul that he helped killed Jason - he didn't reveal his identity, he just said that he killed his brother. For that, Paul asks God to forgive Mark. We know Paul is a horrendous man and also part of 1820, and now he has ammunition that can be used against the Monreaux family.

Episode 8 airs on Monday, November 16, at 9 pm ET on FOX.
