What does it take to be a WWE superstar? Confidence, inner strength, and focus, say experts. Short-form mobile video platform Quibi has collaborated with WWE to bring to viewers a unique show — 'Fight Like A Girl' — that will follow the journey of a young wrestler who, with the help of a wrestling superstar/mentor, will chart a new path in the world of wrestling.

Release date

The show drops on April 13 on the app. Quibi is available for download for both Android and iOS users.

Plot

Each episode of 'Fight Like A Girl' is capped at 10 minutes or less and headlining those will be WWE Superstars Sasha Banks, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Alexa Bliss, Sonya Deville, Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax, Becky Lynch, and Natalya.

Stephanie McMahon, a wrestling personality and Chief Brand Officer, WWE, will be pairing the superstars with the young women. The idea is to help the budding talent come out of the setbacks that have been holding them back or guide them through their diet plans and workout routines so that they can perform better on stage. In a nutshell, help the young generation of wrestlers become a better version of themselves.

“This strong cast of Superstars are leaders and role models who each have personal stories of challenge, perseverance, and triumph,” said Stephanie in a statement and added, “We are thrilled to have them on board to help young women find both their inner and outer strength and overcome adversity in their lives.”

The episodes have been shot in Orlando, Florida, at the popular WWE Performance Center.

Showrunners

It has been produced by WWE Studios and Critical Content, and executive-produced by Stephanie, Susan Levison and Ben Zierten (for WWE Studios), and Tom Forman, Jenny Daly and Jon Beyer for Critical Content.
