‘Loser keeps James Corden’: Comedian hilariously trolled ahead of England v USA World Cup clash
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: TV host James Corden has not been in his audience's good books of late. Now, taking a dig at the comedian, FIFA world cup fans are making a rather uncommon demand: the loser of the upcoming England vs USA match has to indefinitely keep the actor within its borders.
USA and England will lock horns at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor on Friday, November 25. The Three Lions ran out as big winners and defeated an overmatched Iran side 6-2 to open their World Cup campaign. On the other hand, the US team is still in search of its first victory after conceding a late penalty to Wales in a 1-1 draw.

Raising the stakes of the upcoming fixture, fans have dragged Corden into the equation. Someone wrote on Twitter, "England v USA Friday. Loser keeps James Corden." "That should be written in to the contract. Certainly would give England something to play for!" another replied. “I've seen loads of tweets saying the loser of England v the USA keeps James Corden. As an American and a fan of England, I've never wanted a game to end in a draw as much as that one,” said another, while a fourth asserted, “Now that’s a far bigger prize than lifting any World Cup.” Corden is yet to make comment on the bets.
That should be written in to the contract.

The ‘Late Late Show' host recently came under fire after he caused some drama at the NYC restaurant Balthazar, which led to the famous eatery’s owner Keith McNally banning the comedian. Corden and his wife Julia Carey complained to the server that there was a little bit of egg white mixed with their egg yolk, and sent the dish back.
Keith McNally said, "The kitchen remade the dish but unfortunately sent it with home fries instead of salad. That's when James Corden began yelling like crazy to the server: ''You can't do your job! You can't do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelet myself!'''
Days later, Corden was accused of stealing a joke from Ricky Gervais in 2018, an accusation the 44-year-old actor has denied. The Tony award-winner, who earns $36 million a year, shot to fame in the US and became well known for his cheeky British humor on CBS. He had claimed in 2020 that he has anger issues.
