It has been four episodes of 'Fear The Walking Dead' and a lot has happened. Till now, we've seen Morgan (Lennie James) "reborn" and psychologically rewrite himself, Strand (Colman Domingo) doing anything and everything he can to survive including murder, and Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) making some painful decisions.

In the earlier episode, Dwight (Austin Amelio) and Althea (Maggie Grace) save a building filled with bubonic plague. In the latest episode, John Dorie (Garret Dillahunt) takes the center stage. John has always been a riveting character in the series due to his persistent sense of calm. However, he seems to be filled with fury and anger now, and really, who can blame him?

At the beginning of Episode 4, John is just about trying to get used to his new job as a ranger in Lawton, the central community of the Pioneers where evil leader Virginia (Colby Minfie) also lives. A recent murder shakes everyone up as they discover that Cameron was shoved into the fences and murdered. John reverts to his old job as a cop and tries to investigate the sinister happenings in the community.

The community clearly isn't all that safe as it promised to be and there's a murderer lurking among them. At first, Virginia quickly orders Cameron to be taken away before John can investigate. The death is said to be his drinking problem. Yet, John doesn't believe so and after carefully inspecting the area he finds an earring. Initially, he suspects Janis (Holly Curran), who doesn't want to answer any questions.

Janis tries to escape after Cameron's funeral and they rummage through her backpack only to find the other earring. She is put behind bars, and Cameron interrogates her, only to find out that she and Cameron actually were together. John promises to get her out. Later in the episode, Virginia's younger sister Dakota (Zoe Colletti) reveals that Ginny is protecting someone (we suspect Dakota herself...or could be Strand).

After John examines Cameron's body, he discovers that his throat was slit beforehand and asks Strand to help him out as he has access to the weapons cache. Strand is now practically the right-hand man of Virginia and John is sure that he would be able to rescue Janis. John discovers a piece of wood on Cameron and is determined to find out the knife handle it came from.

He wants to bring it up to Virginia but Strand doesn't want him to do so. Later, just as Janis is about to tell John something, Ginny and Strand appear just in time for Janis's "confession". Obviously, Strand knew about Ginny's plan to fake her confession and moved up her execution date so that John would not interfere. This leads to a fight between Strand and John.

Strand has been reverting to his old ways since the beginning of Season 6 as we just saw him throw an innocent man as bait to the Walkers. He is trying desperately to be on Virginia's good side, but this just might turn on him. Will he be able to survive the season? Considering that this is 'The Walking Dead' franchise, we've seen too many characters come and go, though they try to stick on. Time to say goodbye? Well, good riddance.

'Fear The Walking Dead' airs on AMC on Sundays at 9 pm.
