LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Harry & Meghan', the contentious documentary by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, has now aired in its entirety on Netflix. Meghan Markle in the second part of the docuseries has spoken about King Charles walking her down the aisle during her wedding.

'Harry & Meghan' follows Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship. The series has focused on individuals in the couple's lives, including Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, in addition to the duke and duchess. In recent years, Thomas's relationship with his daughter and son-in-law has become strained. Furthermore, Meghan's father has been afflicted with a number of health issues in recent years, some of which have been linked to stress from his tumultuous relationship with the couple.

As revealed in episode three of 'Harry & Meghan,' Thomas was discovered staging images for the paparazzi in return for money, which sparked controversy. He also lied about the event with his future son-in-law Harry, causing a schism between him and his daughter. Despite this, Thomas continued to give paid interviews to the media and reveal his feelings about his daughter, much to her chagrin. "Meghan be nothing without me," he said in one of these interviews. "I made her the Duchess she is today," Daily Mail reports. The father-daughter relationship further deteriorated when Thomas failed to attend his daughter's wedding.

The first few minutes of Episode 4 were devoted to the couple's wedding day in 2018. Meghan claims she requested that Charles walk her down the aisle instead. "Harry’s dad is very charming, and I said to him, 'I've lost my dad in this,'" Meghan explained. "So him as my father-in-law was very important to me. So I asked him to walk me down the aisle, and he said yes."

When addressing their intention to form a gospel choir, Harry also paid respect to his father. He stated there was no opposition to the proposal, and after previously stating that his father had assisted him with music selection, he said of the gospel choir, "Again, more help from my dad on that one." The pair went on to say that Charles selected the tune Meghan walked down the aisle to.

Viewers took to social media to talk about the documentary with one quipping, "Charles scoring some brownie points by Meghan calling him “very charming” Calling the move 'naive', another fan wrote, "So Meghan asked king Charles to walk her down the ailse because she had lost her own dad and thought Charles would be a good father to her cause he was charming. She was so hopeful Oh how naive my poor baby was." One fan tweet read, "Unfortunately he too failed her." Calling out the media on false reporting, a fan tweeted, "So, Harry choose the song Meghan walked down the aisle to and here media was reporting it was Charles choosing the wedding songs…"
