Kim Kardashian's ex Pete Davidson mocks Kanye West at Emmys 2022, fans say 'thank God he didn't steal HER look'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Pete Davidson stunned the fans as he attended the 2022 Emmy Awards. Davidson, 28, showed up at the awards ceremony in an all-black ensemble that many fans believe was inspired by Kanye West.

On September 12, Davidson attended the Emmys, marking his first public appearance since his well-publicized split from Kim Kardashian, 41. Davidson presented the award for the best comedy series to 'Ted Lasso.'

Davidson quipped about his tenure on the show, 'Saturday Night Live' while presenting, calling out host and former SNL co-star Kenan Thompson. "This is just like SNL because Keenan is doing all the work and I'm refusing to say what the writers want," he said.

Fans, however, were far too fixated on Pete's out-of-character outfit, claiming that he resembled Ye, 45, Kim's former husband, unsettlingly. Some fans appeared to believe that the 'Bodies Bodies Bodies' star was mocking the Chicago rapper with the ensemble, which included a straightforward black jacket, matching black pants, and innovative white sunglasses.

Kanye had previously worn a similar outfit for the 2019 Met Gala, which he attended with Kim. On Twitter, one fan wrote, "Not Pete Davidson dressed up like Kanye at the Emmy's 💀," while another admirer praised Davidson for dressing as the iconic rapper wrote, "Can we all just appreciate Pete Davidson dressing like Kanye for the Emmy's."

A third fan made a recommendation for the singer of 'Black Skinhead' wrote, "Pete Davidson got on a whole Dickies fit at the Emmy's Kanye bout to have a cow," and this other fan humorously wrote, "Thank God he didn't steal HER look🤦‍♀️"

There were rumors that Kim's feuding ex-lovers would clash at the Emmys due to Ye's nomination for best documentary for the film "Jeen-Yuhs" and Davidson's nominations in plenty of other categories with the SNL cast. Nevertheless, fans weren't anticipating Davidson to dress like the 'Ghost Town' singer.

In a previous attack on Kim and Davidson on September 3, West claimed that his ex-wife used her ex-boyfriend as a "pawn" in their relationship. The 'Heartless' singer wrote via Instagram, presumably imitating the former Saturday Night Live star, "Hi North, I'm Skete, Look at my Tattooooos. I'm a pawn sent here to antagonize your dad in hopes that he'll do something illegal so we can take him out of your life."

Davidson's mental health suffered because of West and Kim's tumultuous relationship as he sought trauma therapy. Kim and 'The King of Staten Island' star began dating in October 2021, after her seven-year romance with West ended in February 2021. Despite the fact that Kim and West's divorce is still proceeding, both of them were formally pronounced single in March 2022.
