ARLINGTON, VERMONT: Actor Alec Baldwin thanked his family for keeping him alive over the last year after the terrorizing accidental shooting on the sets of 'Rust' in October 2021. Alec welcomed his seventh child with Hilaria Baldwin last week and is now likely to be prosecuted in the fatal shooting. He took it to Instagram to express how things in his life "may never be the same."
The 64-year-old actor post featured several snaps on Instagram of his growing children, including Carmen, 9, Rafael, 7, Leonardo, 5, Romeo, 4, Eduardo, 2, and Lucia, 1, as he reminisced over their childhood. He captioned the post, "These kids. All of them born in 212. Same hospital. First four in the same room. Last three in the same, but different room," Alec wrote. "My heart has been broken a thousand times this past year."

During the filming of the ‘Rust’ movie, a young cinematographer Halyna Hutchins lost her life after Alec's prop gun fired a bullet that hit her and killed Hutchins and director Joel Souza suffered injuries in the crossfire. Thinking about the tragedy Alec writes, "My heart has been broken a thousand times this past year." "And things in my life May never be the same. Lots of changes coming," he added after news broke out that the New Mexico state district attorney could file criminal charges against four people, including actor Alec Baldwin. Despite the horrifying shooting, Alec says his family has kept him alive and that is the reason for his living. "But my family has kept me alive. They are my reason for living. And @hilariabaldwin, too," the award-winning actor remarked.
In a letter written by Santa Fe District Attorney, Mary Carmack-Altwies, to the state’s finance board reveals that at least four people could face criminal charges in relation to last year’s incident. Well-known actor Alec Baldwin is one of the three who is also likely to be prosecuted for criminal charges including homicide and gun violations, the Santa Fe New Mexican reported. Earlier this year Hutchins' family also filed a wrongful death suit against Baldwin, producers and members of the 'Rust' production who they allegedly breached "the most basic rules of firearm use on a film production."
