Elsie (Jordan Alexander) is adamant as it is. Ever since she met her father in the prison, she has been so conceited and willing to overlook any flaw in him, including the latest escape he pulled using Shannon's (Kristin Bauer van Straten) car.

In Episode 3 of 'Sacred Lies: The Singing Bones', Amelia Harper's (Juliette Lewis) pursuit of the Cherry Falls Jane Does leads her to a shred of new evidence, which confirms that the murder victims were sisters between the age of 18 and 24, while the rest of the case continues to remain uncharted.

The newfound details also establish that one of them was killed by a blow from a blunt object to the head, while the other succumbed to a bullet that was fired through her ribs.

While the forensic reports provide spine-chilling details about the gruesome attack on the sisters, the cops who are well-aware of Peter's (Ryan Kwanten) whereabouts are seen interrogating Elsie. However, she refuses to coordinate with them as she couldn't stop defending her father.

The newfound details turn Amelia suspicious, who enlists Lily's (Kimiko Glenn) help in tracing Elsie's true identity. She asks for a DNA test on the material evidence, as she believes there exists a strange connection between Peter and Jane Doe sisters.

When Elsie confronts Amelia, the latter says that everybody deserves to have a name or an identity and she isn't able to come to terms with the mysterious death of the Jane Doe sisters, as she strongly believes there is someone out there in the lookout for them.

Amelia's justification convinces Elsie, who agrees to join hands with the self-claimed member of the Jane Doe Archive in finding Peter, who is now proved to be the father of the child of one of the dead sisters.

Peter is later seen unearthing the sisters' journal, which was safely buried in the woods all these years. While Peter's flashbacks reveal new details each time, Elsie's DNA test establishes a mind-boggling fact about her existence.

As another episode of 'Sacred Lies: The Singing Bones' ends with a major cliffhanger, we see ourselves tightly clutching at the straws, hoping the next episode reveals enough to tie up the loose ends.
