LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Piers Morgan, a fierce critic of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, recently reviewed a podcast by the Duchess of Sussex that streams on Spotify. The British broadcaster slammed the Duchess of Sussex for the comments she made in the first episode.

Morgan has made it quite clear that he is not a fan of Meghan Markle. The TV personality was talking about Meghan's new podcast titled 'Archetypes', which aims to explore the several labels which hold women back in their life and career.

The podcast will feature interviews with exceptional women. The description on Spotify says, "It is a podcast where we investigate, dissect, and subvert the labels that try to hold women back." The series kicked off with an interview with recently retired tennis star Serena Williams

Morgan, dissatisfied with the Duchess, tweeted about the same on his social media account. He quoted a tweet from journalist Claudia Aoraha, in which Meghan shares the negative reaction she got from the Royal Family when considering her ambition in life.

He tweeted, "It’s not your ambition we dislike, Princess Pinocchio – it’s the vile way you trash the Royal Family whilst simultaneously exploiting your royal status for millions of dollars as with this podcast."

Royal expert Chris Ship had tweeted the news, "Meghan Markle says Archie's room caught fire during her and Harry’s Royal Tour of South Africa and it left everyone in tears - and yet she still had to do an official engagement that night which she said doesn’t 'make any sense'."

In response, the former Good Morning Britain presenter said, "He (Archie) wasn’t even in the room & nobody was harmed. Can you imagine the Queen whining about having to an an engagement in this circumstance? Markle’s victimhood knows no bounds, nor does her thirst to trash the royals whilst making $$$ from them. It’s shameless & pathetic."

Meanwhile, not everyone agreed with Morgan's tirade, as some broadcasters and journalists said that they enjoyed the first episode of the podcast.

Jasmine Dotiwala, a reporter, said on Twitter, "Driving listening to #MeghanMarkle new @Spotify podcast #Archetypes. She discusses powerful women & overcoming barriers, choosing to challenge. The fact that society doesn't often approve of ambitious women with Serena Williams & other super-dope women!"

Fellow broadcaster Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu called out Morgan for his attack on Meghan. She said, "Piers Morgan's latest attack on Meghan Markle is unhinged & other usual media suspects trying to discredit #Archetypes demonstrate their unjustified hate for her. It's not criticism (objective or otherwise). It's racially motivated bigoted hate gaslit as 'difference of opinion'."

Meghan Markle's Archetypes podcast is available to stream on Spotify.
