Emmie Sperandeo, a 27-year-old TikTok influencer, was hospitalized after a horse fell on top of her. She fractured her skull in two places and was bleeding from her ears when she met with the said accident.

The "wanderin' buckaroo," as Sperandeo refers to herself on social media, has over 279,000 Instagram and 1.6 million TikTok followers after sharing stories about her life working on a ranch. She has released videos of herself competing in several rodeo events, in addition to caring for the animals and the ranch.

1. Opportunities to work on podcasts, talk shows and a documentary

Sperandeo is an enthusiastic horsewoman who has demonstrated her love for horses through her work on several ranches. Her unconventional lifestyle has helped her gain opportunities to work on podcasts, talk shows and even a Netflix documentary. While she had no intention of becoming a full-time cowgirl, she fell in love with the independent lifestyle while working on a ranch in Montana.

2. Background and education

Sperandeo is a native of Florida. She specializes in agricultural, equine and nature videography, and has traveled and documented numerous locations in the US and abroad. She studied cinematography as well. After graduating, she moved to Oregon and started working for a tech startup company.

3. Established Steady Rein Productions

Sperandeo established Steady Rein Productions after sharing videos fo her work on Instagram and TikTok. She began to gain clients and worked with a number of agriculture non-profits, including organizations dedicated to empowering women in agriculture. Sperandeo has a YouTube channel, where she showcases her skills in handling horses and videography. She has 9,340 subscribers on YouTube.
