Eminem ‘Music to Be Murdered By Side B': Release date, concept, tracklist, where to livestream and all about rapper's surprise album
Hip-hop legend Eminem had surprised dropped ‘Music to Be Murdered By’ in January 2020 and now, he has given another treat to his global fans with another surprise drop with the sequel of the album. What a perfect way to end the year! Speculations for the sequel were rife as the multiple award-winning rapper was dropping subliminal hints through his producers on the internet for the last few days.
Taking to his official Twitter account, the 48-year-old Academy Award winner posted the fresh poster of the album’s sequel which he aptly called side B. The sequel is officially titled ‘Music to Be Murdered By (Deluxe Edition)'. He captioned the post as: “Uncle Alfred heard you screaming for more... enjoy Side B. https://smarturl.it/MTBMBDLX”

The sequel is a follow-up to his 11th studio album with the same name. Eminem had made no prior announcement for his 2018 album ‘Kamikaze’ and he followed the same pattern for his 11th and his brand new 12th album respectively. ‘Music to Be Murdered By’ had debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and it will be interesting to see whether the sequel achieves the same feat or not.
Release date
Eminem has dropped the album on December 17, 2020, via Aftermath Entertainment, Interscope Records and Shady Records.
Concept
With the surprise drop of the deluxe edition, the ‘Rap God’ hitmaker also revealed the poster of the album which seems to be inspired from Alfred Hitchcock’s 1963 horror-thriller film ‘The Birds’. In one-half of the album cover, Eminem can be seen standing in shadows wearing a suit and rocking a round hat while a crow rests on his right shoulder. The other half cover of the album is covered with dripping dark red blood which gives a gory vibe to the record. Talking about the guest features, artistes such as Dr Dre, Ty Dolla $ign, DJ Premier and Skylar Gray appear on the deluxe edition.
