However, Musk did not refrain from calling out the Democrats and the former Twitter leaders as he said, "but there is no question that Twitter operated as a Democratic Party activist machine."

“With rare exception, the FBI seems to want to do the right thing,” Musk said. He was responding to the 'Twitter Files' thread retweeted by journalist Gleen Greenwald who said "Yoel Roth, meeting with FBI weekly, and his little censorship minions absolutely degraded Twitter into little more than a full-on Democratic Party activist machine, all while lying to the public about its function. This was a massive public fraud and 2020 election interference:"

Following the release of the third part of 'Twitter Files' by Substack journalist Matt Taibbi on December 9 which included "The Removal of Donald Trump Part One: October 2020-January 6th", the election interference through the censoring of Donald Trump's campaigns and banning him from the bird app was revealed. Relating to the disclosure, Musk tweeted "Unequivocally true. The evidence is clear and voluminous."

“Election interference by social media companies obviously undermines the public’s faith in democracy and is wrong,” Musk tweeted conveying that such influential platforms should not have a role in interfering with the elections though he thought Trump would have lost anyway saying, "Do I think Trump would have lost anyway? Yes. And, as a reminder, I supported Biden, Hilary and Obama."

The 'Twitter Files' thread that was first released on December 3 had its supplemental threads posted on December 7. The second part of the files was dropped on December 9 and was titled 'Twitter's Secret Blacklists'. The tweets exposing the hidden truths of Twitter's activities in censorship were revealed through Taibbi and journalist Bari Weiss who were given exclusive access to the sensitive information. According to Musk, more information and documents under the 'Twitter Files' will be released in the upcoming weeks.
