Following the release of the third part of 'Twitter Files' by Substack journalist Matt Taibbi on December 9 which included "The Removal of Donald Trump Part One: October 2020-January 6th", the election interference through the censoring of Donald Trump's campaigns and banning him from the bird app was revealed. Relating to the disclosure, Musk tweeted "Unequivocally true. The evidence is clear and voluminous."
“Election interference by social media companies obviously undermines the public’s faith in democracy and is wrong,” Musk tweeted conveying that such influential platforms should not have a role in interfering with the elections though he thought Trump would have lost anyway saying, "Do I think Trump would have lost anyway? Yes. And, as a reminder, I supported Biden, Hilary and Obama."
