'They are incredible': Elon Musk says Johnny Depp and Amber Heard should 'move on'
A day after the jury in the defamation lawsuit between actor Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard began deliberations on May 27, billionaire Elon Musk called both the Hollywood stars "incredible" and hoped they would move on.
The advice from Musk comes after Depp was challenged in court on Wednesday, 25 May, with a text message he sent to his former talent agent Christian Carinno in which he discussed Heard's alleged fling with Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. "Come see me face to face...I'll show him things he's never seen before..." the actor stated in the text which was read aloud before the jurors in court on Wednesday, 25 May. Musk, who allegedly dated the actress when she was still married to Depp, wrote on Twitter, "I hope they both move on. At their best, they are each incredible."

A user responded to the tweet and wrote, " I do hope we start thinking of people by who they are at their best not their worst." A second user explained, "Being with the wrong person can bring out the worst in a person. Some people bring you up & others bring you down. Seems like they only encouraged the worst from each other & didn't hold each other accountable or set boundaries." "This is very sweet…I would be more happy to know that you surround yourself with people that don’t loose their light and humanity even at their worst…we all tend to be nice and appealing at our best…" a user tweeted. "Agreed! People are quick to point the finger, give an opinion, but wish they can be you," another tweeted.

Depp supporters, on the other hand, mocked Amber Heard and interrogated Musk about his relationship with the 'Aquaman' actor.
A user questioned, "Did you move on tho?" A second user tweeted, "Heard is not incredible. She’s abusive." "Reflection on Marriage and relationship from a manchild with 3 divorces and 8 kids," a user mocked Musk on his advise.

In May 2016, Heard, who was married to Depp from 2015 to 2017, got a restraining order against him, claiming domestic abuse. Depp, 56, sued Heard in December 2018 for an op-ed she wrote for Washington Post in which she portrayed herself as a "public figure representing domestic abuse."
The actor stated that he took legal action to handle "what I've been carrying on my back, reluctantly, for six years." Heard, 36, countersued for $100 million, saying that he subjected her to "rampant physical violence and abuse." Following six weeks of searing reciprocal claims of domestic abuse between the couple, lawyers for both sides presented their closing arguments on Friday, 27 May.
