Ellen DeGeneres is all about the PDA with wife Portia de Rossi as she announces new YouTube show
SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA: Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi appeared more like teens in love than a long-time married couple as they stepped out in Santa Barbara on Wednesday, October 26, just days after the TV icon announced her new comedy series.
The 64-year-old TV personality, who announced the end of her talk show in May, looked loved up with actress Portia, 49, as the pair put on an affectionate display while strolling through the streets together. The gorgeous couple rocked casual and comfortable attires for the fun outing.

While the queen of talk shows looked more fun in a white graphic print tee paired with beige joggers and trainers, her wife looked stylish in a matching white tee and jeans with a black padded jacket. Knowing she would be doing a lot of walking, the actress complimented her look with beige boots. The ‘Arrested Development’ star also had her hair in a bun for their day out. Portia and Ellen have put the extra time in their hands to good use after Ellen’s previous talk show ended. The pair were even spotted hanging out in matching white outfits while out shopping in Santa Barbara County earlier this month.
Ellen and Portia exchanged vows in August 2008 after dating each other for four years. The couple, who started dating in 2004, has been through thick and thin together over the years.
The fun outing came just days after Ellen released the teaser trailer of her upcoming comedy series, titled 'About Time For Yourself… with Ellen', on Friday, October 21. In a short promotional clip for the show, the TV personality said she was enjoying the newfound absence of cameras when the idea for a new program struck her. "You know, lately I've been taking some time just for myself, away from the cameras," she said in a statement to People. "I've been having such a great time, I thought I would share some of what I've been doing with you. And so I yelled, "Portia, get the camera," so I thanked Portia for doing this. Great job, so far."
The statement added that the absence of cameras helped her try new things and spend time in a unique ‘Ellen Way’. "After stepping out of the spotlight of her iconic talk show, Ellen is trying something bold and new - being unemployed," The statement continued. "In this new series shot at her home, Ellen shares her own attempts to try new things and make a little me time in her own very Ellen way."
'About Time For Yourself… with Ellen' will stream on Ellen's official YouTube channel and will be released weekly, with the first installment scheduled to premiere on Saturday. The series was announced 5 months after 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' ended in May this year. The star stayed with the show for nearly two decades before announcing its end last year.
