LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Mystery around Joel's murder case thickens in Episode 6 of 'Elite' Season 8. Joel (Fernando Líndez) was found dead, naked, and soaked in blood in the opening scene of the season.

The initial investigation incriminates Ivan Cruz Carvalho (André Lamoglia) and Dalmar (Iván Mendes) as the primary suspects who were also found at the crime scene, covered in blood.

What follows is a disgraceful exposé of how the wealthy and elite misuse their power and position to escape accountability, often making the poor and minorities scapegoats.

Why does Carmen want Dalmar to confess in 'Elite' Season 8?

Ivan's arrest is met with resistance from his friends, who leverage their social media influence to launch a "Free Ivan" campaign. They emphasize his good character, and his love for Joel, and insist that he couldn't possibly be guilty.

Hector (Nuno Gallego) and Emilia Krawietz (Ane Rot) hop onto the trend, extending support to Ivan while cleverly suggesting that Dalmar is the real culprit.

Emilia's hatred towards the Black community and Dalmar's low financial status drive her to make him the scapegoat in the murder investigation, diverting the attention of the cops and the public away from her and Hector.

In order to save her son Ivan from further miseries, Carmen Silva (Maribel Verdú) too wants Dalmar to take the fall for the crime.

Both Ivan and Dalmar were found at the crime scene but only Dalmar would eventually get incriminated. His mistake? His skin color, as he says.

Did Dalmar actually kill Joel in 'Elite' Season 8?

Dalmar knows that he has no way out of this mess, especially after Carmen tells him that he is already guilty in the public eye. Dalmar doesn't even have financial support, like Ivan.

His statement against Chloe Silva (Mirela Balić) and Eric de Velasco Viveros (Gleb Abrosimov) hasn't led cops anywhere, which circles back all the attention to him. He might take Carmen's suggestion and confess the crime even though he didn't actually kill Joel.

Meanwhile, the actual killer is still on the loose and we hope that justice is served in the next episodes.
