People's Choice Awards 2020: Who's performing? From Justin Bieber to Chloe x Halle, here's the list
E! People’s Choice Awards 2020 is all set to begin on Sunday, November 15 with a bunch of power-packed performers arriving at the red carpet and Demi Lovato, stin a fiery orange sequin-covered jumpsuit, ready to put the hosting hat on.
The Award show will kickstart at 9 pm ET and will air on Bravo, E!, SYFY and the USA Network from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. The show is also giving all its live updates through Twitter and the E! Network.
This year, we are getting Chloe x Halle and Justin Bieber as performers for the show with a bunch of our favorite stars as presenters including social media star Addison Rae, ‘The Good Place’s Jameela Jamil, ‘Call Me by Your Name’ stunner Armie Hammer, 'Mad Men' famed Alison Brie and Christina Hendricks, pop star Bebe Rexha, rappers Machine Gun Kelly and Tyler, the Creator, 'Descendants' star Sofia Carson and the ever-gorgeous Tiffany Hadish. The 46th ceremony will honor Jennifer Lopez with the People’s Icon Award, Tracee Ellis Ross with the Fashion Icon Award, and Tyler Perry with the People’s Champion Award.
This time, the People’s Choice Awards has also included two new categories including the New Artist of 2020, Collaboration Song of 2020 and Soundtrack Song of 2020.
Prior to performing for the People’s Choice Awards, Chloe x Halle performed the title track of their second studio album ‘Ungodly Hour’ released this year with Beyonce’s label, Parkwood Entertainment for MTV VMAS 2020. Released in June 2020, the album has turned to the highest-charting album with a number 16 debut on the Billboard 200 chart. Their first album, ‘The Kids Are Alright’ earned them their first two career Grammy Award nominations for Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best New Artist for the 61st Grammy Awards.
Justin Beiber released his latest single Lonely with Benny Blanco on October 15th. The Billboard Hot 100 singer’s last album ‘Changes’ released in February 2020 which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, his seventh US number-one album. Bieber is currently one of the world's best-selling music artists with sales of over 150 million records. At 26, he has also bagged a Grammy Award, 15 American Music Awards, 20 Billboard Music Awards, two Brit Awards, a Latin Grammy Award, a record 21 MTV Europe Music Awards, and three MTV Video Music Awards.
