'Dublin Murders' Episode 4: Does the wolf visiting Adam/Rob hold secrets to solving the mystery? Who is Lexie and why did she die?

What is going on with the wolf that Rob keeps hallucinating about? Is there a supernatural element to the show that we are missing? Is the wolf behind the disappearance of Adam's friends? Does it have anything to do with Katy's murder?

The mystery seems to deepen further with each passing episode of 'Dublin Murders' with no old questions seemingly getting answered.

In the most recently aired Episode 3 of the Starz (and BBC) series, we saw Rob (Killian Scott) and Cassie (Sarah Greene) getting some clues regarding Katy's (Amy Macken), especially with regards to the mysterious man in the French blue tracksuit. However, there are no definitive identities that point towards who this person may be, while suspicious behavior seems to be on the rise with Rosalind (Leah McNamara) coming across as someone with a lot of secrets, Sandra (Carolyn Bracken) not outright denying the rumors about her abortion and most suspiciously, Dr Hanley (Jonathan Forbes) being found naked "praying" to the gods near the murder site.

While the murder of Katy itself is a matter of grave interest, Rob aka Adam's past keeps getting dragged back into the future, and not just because he finds associations with what happened to him in the woods two decades ago and what is happening now. It is clear that there is a connection between these two mysteries, but more importantly, what is going on with the wolf that Rob keeps hallucinating about? Is there a supernatural element to the show that we are missing? Is the wolf behind the disappearance of Adam's friends? Does it have anything to do with Katy's murder?

Despite the number of questions we ask regarding that, 'Dublin Murders' seems to not be in a rush to give those answers and instead has bogged us down with more mysterious storylines, specifically pertaining to Cassie. In the previous episode, we saw her staring down at the lifeless body of her doppelganger much to the amazement of everything gathered at the murder site. We know that Cassie has gone on an undercover mission in her past where she took on the identity of Lexie, and now there is an actual woman named Lexie who looks exactly like her, lying dead in front of her eyes.

How is the show going to justify this development? We don't know yet, but we are excited to find out, especially since Cassie is planning to go undercover again, as Lexie to fish the murderer or her doppelganger out. Don't forget to watch Season 1 Episode 4 of 'Dublin Murders', which will air on Sunday, 1 December, to find out how she accomplishes that.
