Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid 'take a break' after dating for two years
Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid have decided to take a break from their relationship. The couple is still trying to figure out what they want to do together in the future. The model and pop star were together for more than two years.
People first reported the relationship break between the couple. Dua, 26, and Anwar, 22, have considered spending some time apart. The Sun reported earlier this week that the couple was facing a crisis in the relationship because of work commitments and being away from each other for long periods. It finally proved too tough for the two of them.

The two have not been pictured together in the last six months as Dua was recording music in London and Los Angeles while Anwar was with his dog Dexter in New York City. The Sun reported, "The couple floated the idea about putting the brakes on their romance last month as traveling so much and being apart is proving to tough."
An insider also added, "Their relationship is going through a crisis and appears to be on the rocks." Talking about her relationship in an interview earlier in May, Dua Lipa revealed how she met Anwar.
They met at a barbecue and soon she slid into his DM; they continued messaging until she appeared on 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen'.
In June 2019, the couple sparked the first rumors about their relationship after they were seen packing on the PDA at the British Summer Time Music Festival in London. Soon, the two attended New York Fashion Week together in September 2019. At the 2019 American Music Awards, the couple came out and made their first red carpet debut.
In August 2021, Anwar wished Dua on Instagram on the occasion of her 26th birthday and wrote, "Happy Birthday girl of my dreams. Love u forever and always." One month before, Dua wished Anwar on the occasion of his 22nd birthday with a lovely picture of the two together with pup Dexter.
She wrote, "Happy Birthday baby. Another lap around the sun- you make my world so much better!! I'm lucky to love you and be loved by you. DEXTER IS SO LUCKY TOO N LOVES U SO MUCH!!! Can't wait to celebrate youuu today."
Earlier in January 2019, she shared how she had a comfortable relationship with Anwar. She mentioned, "I'm very comfortable in the relationship, more so than others."
