GLENDALE, ARIZONA: Drake has placed a total of seven hefty bets on the Super Bowl, which will take place on Sunday, February 12, and if all of them succeed, he might walk away with $4.5 million. The 'Worst Behavior' singer spent a total of $965k on the bets, the majority of which were predictions for the Chiefs to win the match.

On Thursday, February 9, the Canadian rapper posted on Instagram about his predictions for the Chiefs-Eagles game, where the latter are favored to win by 1.5 points. His Instagram post was captioned, "My psychotic bets for Sunday are in @stake. Please do not analyze the logic behind these bets there is none." Drake placed a $700k wager on the Chiefs to win the championship before placing some "smaller" prop bets. The rapper wagered $50,000 on Patrick Mahomes and Juju Smith-Schuster each scoring the first Chiefs touchdown and another $50,000 on the Chiefs winning both halves of the match. He also staked an additional $30k on the Chiefs winning each quarter, $25k on Travis Kelce earning Super Bowl MVP, and $60k on a tight end winning the award. Travis Kelce may be Kansas City's best pass-catcher, but no tight end has ever won Super Bowl MVP, making Drake's bet a potentially risky one.

'Infinite money glitch'

People flooded the Instagram post's comment section after viewing the 'Hotline Bling' singer's ridiculous bets, which received over 48K likes. One individual commented, "Those are some crazy bets." Another person commented, "This is wild, but ima have to say fly eagles on this one," adding a phone-like emoji and a fire emoji.

A third person commented, "Infinite money glitch." Another individual who supports Eagles wrote, "Eagles definitely winning this one bro." Many others have reacted to Drake's bet on Twitter with one person writing, "That seems like an awful way to distribute the money, haha."

Another person wrote, "Okay those are some wild a*s plays... Highly doubt one team wins each quarter. But ofc it's not his own money so yeah. That Kelce MVP something I've had in the back of my mind tho." Someone else tweeted, "At least he has the money to lose. All stupid bets."

Drake's betting track record

Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, has a reputation for making wild bets. His $1 million winning wager on the Chiefs to defeat the Bengals in the AFC Championship last month earned him a $2 million reward. But his bets have not always landed him on the winning side, as he has also faced some significant losses. His bets are often called 'Drake's Curse' whenever he ends on the losing side.

Drake wagered $1 million in December on Argentina to defeat France in the World Cup final in regulation. Unfortunately for him, the French were defeated by Lionel Messi & Co in a thrilling penalty shootout after extra time. In addition, he bet $2 million Canadian dollars on Israel Adesanya in November 2022 to defeat Alex Pereira in the UFC 281. Ultimately, Pereira triumphed through knockout in the fifth round.
