Drake wishes James LeBron on historic NBA feat
Drake took to social media and posted a video of himself to congratulate the NBA star for achieving the historic feat. The video with the rapper standing with a basketball, wearing an orange hoodie, claiming he was in James' hometown Akron, Ohio. In the background is a basketball court. Drake starts the 40-second clip by saying, "LeBron, what a legendary night in NBA history. You're breaking the all-time scoring record. And to honor that I had to come back to the place that it all started: Akron, Ohio."
He continues by saying, "Every journey has a beginning, and tonight..." The background changes as the greenscreen projecting the court is pulled down. It is replaced by a group of women partying at a club. Drake then says, "I lied, I lied to you. Um, I'm actually still at the club in Miami, but definitely, all the girls say congrats, alright, girls." He then ends the video by saying, "Congrats, brother."
