LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Canadian rapper Drake released a new song on Friday called ‘Rescue Me’ and it features an unexpected voice - Kim Kardashian's. The use of the audio clip has resurfaced the famous feud between the ‘God’s Plan’ singer and Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West. The song was released on 'The Fry Yiy Show' on SiriusXM Radio.

The clip refers to ‘The Kardashians’ star talking to her mother Kris Jenner with reference to Kanye West. Kim can be heard saying, “I didn't come this far just to come this far and not be happy. Remember that,” in the short clip. The ‘I’m Your Mother’ star was seen agreeing with her eldest daughter, as reported by XXL. The clip has been taken from a ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ episode aired in 2021.

Drake, Kanye West end beef and party in Toronto, trolls say it's ‘planned for clout’

Drake and Kim Kardashian

The ‘Euphoria’ executive producer has seldom shied away from alluding to an affair between him and the SKIMS founder in his lyrics. In his 2018 hit ‘In My Feelings’, Drake famously included the line “Kiki, do you love me?” Many fans speculated that through the song, the ‘Certified Lover Boy’ star was probably referring to Kim as she is often called Kiki by her family members.

Again in 2021, in a song titled 'Wants and Needs', the musician made multiple references to the mother-of-four. "I'm from the four, but I love me a threesome/ DM her, delete it, she my lil' secret/ He tryna diss me to blow up, I peep it/ I can't respond, we just go at your people," reads one of the sections of the song.

Drake and Kanye West's feud

Kanye West co-performed and produced Drake's 2010 hit 'Find Your Love'. However, the relationship deteriorated when Drake alluded to the Kardashians in multiple songs. Drake and Kim’s ex-husband’s feud probably started because of the ‘Degrassi: The Next Generation’ star’s repeated allusions to his affair with Kim Kardashian. He even presumably referred to West in the 2021 song ‘Wants and Needs’ as he sings, “Yeah, I probably should go link with Yeezy, I need me some Jesus / But soon as I started confessin' my sins, he wouldn't believe us.” As the feud between the two rappers escalated, Kim took to her Twitter account to threaten Drake. "Never threaten my husband or our family. He paved the way for there to be a Drake," wrote the reality TV star.

However, the two rappers, who were once at odds with each other, reportedly have made amends as Kanye West was seen spending time with Drake in his Toronto house after they came together for a fundraising concert in 2021.
