Drake tattoos mother Sandi Graham's initials on his face in SWEET tribute
Drake chose a very unique way to celebrate his mother, Sandi Graham, and got a tattoo of her initials permanently engraved on his face. The Grammy-winning rapper took to Instagram to share an image of his tribute, which he got just above his left eye. It read, “s g” in black.
Drake captioned the photo sweetly as “Sandra Gale 💖”. The post also included several other images. As per reports, the creator of ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ album, whose birth name is Aubrey Graham, is very close to his 62-year-old mother. In an old interview, he had admitted his unwavering love for Sandi and said: “My mother is an incredible woman. I talk about her a lot on this album [Nothing Was The Same, released Sept. 24]. She's brought me to this point single-handedly…She's the most important person in my life.”

Then again in 2017, the 35-year-old Canadian fondly talked about her and told The Hollywood Reporter, “She never necessarily implemented anything. She’s always just told me, ‘You know, whatever you want to do, whatever you end up being, I’ll always love you. I’ll always support you'.”
Drake’s mother has also time and again showed her unconditional love for her son. In 2021, when his next album ‘Certified Lover Boy’ was about to get released, she showered him with sweet notes and flowers. The message from his mother reportedly read, “Being your mother has been my life’s greatest treat. It’s been a long hard road together. I wanna celebrate you son, more than you’ll ever know. Love you more now and forever.”
This comes after the ‘One Dance’ singer roasted his father online a few days ago. He posted a picture of Dennis Graham showing off his son’s face tattooed on his arm. Dennis apparently got that tattoo half-a-decade-ago. Drake sarcastically wrote in the caption, “@therealdennisg I was just sitting here thinking why you do me like this we family 😂😂😂.”
His father replied back saying, “Hahaha I had 16 people to try and straighten this out, they’re hurting me 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️😂😂😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. He also added, “I love you ❤️😘💕 and miss you.
Drake’s parents reportedly got separated when he was only five-year-old. He had addressed that also in the interview by saying, “I was really hard on my parents for giving me sort of a childhood that I had to wrap my mind around as I grew. Multiple times I sort of suggested that they could have done a better job at co-parenting, sticking together, not being so divided.”

Though Drake does not share a great bond with his father, he did sometimes praise him. He had told GQ years ago, “My father is an incredible man—charming, talented, and stylish—and I'm sort of living the dream he had for himself. But his actions served as that reverse role model for me. There are a lot of things that I don't ever want to do. I don't want to miss years of my child's life. I don't want to put a woman on a roller-coaster ride.”
