Episodes 9 and 10 of 'Dr. Romantic 2' we saw how Kim Sabu (Han Suk-kyu) fainted after treating patients who were admitted following a bus accident. Kim Sabu was also on the bus, but he held on until he could help the patients despite being hurt. He has a cut on the side of his waist that he refuses to get treated until he is done operating on his patients and in the end, he passes out due to the injury. Dr. Seo Woo-jin (Ahn Hyo-seop) hears Kim Sabu falling down and he rushes him to the emergency ward to get him treated.

Kim Sabu is the one who is holding Doldam Hospital together after the president has been fired. However, with him not present, Dr. Park Min-guk (Kim Joo-hun) and Dr. Do Yoon-wan (Choi Hin-ho) will now have the opportunity to transform Doldam into a private hospital that will serve rich clients. This plan is something that has been in the works for a while and Dr. Park's assignment at Doldam is to win the employees in the hospital over and remove Kim Sabu from his role as well.

Until now, Kim Sabu was not an easy target and somehow found a way to thwart Dr. Park and Dr. Do's efforts. But now, the loyal employees at Doldam -- Dr. Nam Do-il (Byeon Woo-Min), Dr. Jung In-soo (Yoon Na-Moo), Dr. Bae Moon-Jung (Shin Dong-wook), nurse Oh Myung-sim (Jin Kyung) nurse Eun-tak (Kim Min-jae) -- are having trouble putting up a fight. In the promo of the upcoming episode, we see Myung-sim say that Kim Sabu falling (ill or otherwise) means that the hospital will also fall soon.

While they wrestle with the best way to save Kim Sabu and keep the hospital safe, Woo-jin finds out that he has a surprise guest. This guest seems to know Dr. Cha Eun-jae (Lee Sung-kyung), and so we can, for now, assume that the man in black, whose face is yet to have been introduced in the show could be someone who was acquainted with Woo-jin when he was in med school. However, Woo-jin doesn't look too happy about this man having come to meet him. This mystery man also  says "So this is where you have been hiding?" This makes us wonder if Woo-jin has been running away from his acquaintance all this while.

Also, is this in any way related to the large amount he has borrowed from loan sharks? We will also see how this new character will change things for Woo-jin and Eun-jae at the hospital.

'Dr. Romantic 2' episodes air on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10 pm on SBS.
