Duane Chapman sells 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' mansion that he and late wife Beth lived in for $1.59M
NAPLES, FLORIDA: It's the end of an era for reality show star Duane Chapman after he closed a big deal on his panoramic mountain view house. 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' star Duane Chapman and his late wife Beth Chapman purchased the home in 2009 for just $750,000. The couple lived there for a decade before Beth died at age 51after a long battle with throat cancer.
Initially listed back in October for $1.69 million, a pending offer was in the works in November following a $95,000 price cut. The home is expected to close on Monday at the asking price of $1,595,000, according to New York Post. This mansion is the same property that was widely featured in Chapman’s reality shows, 'Dog the Bounty Hunter,' 'Dog and Beth: On the Hunt' and 'Dog’s Most Wanted'. Duane has addressed his plans to launch 'The D.O.G. Foundation' to tackle the sex trafficking epidemic.

This move comes after Chapman got married to Francie Frane, six months after Beth's passing in June 2019. Frane also lost her spouse, husband, Bob Frane in 2018. “I love Colorado- it will always be special to me and Francie,” said Duane “We have moved to the sunny state of Florida and are enjoying the warmer weather. Aloha.”The massive property spans 6,200 square feet and is made up of six bedrooms, five baths, and is situated on over nine acres of land in Castle Rock in the Keene Ranch community.
There is an “expansive deck for spectacular Colorado sunsets,” the listing notes which includes an updated kitchen with granite counters, a great room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a fireplace, exposed beams, a wet bar, and an entertainment room with a movie theater, reported the source. Karen Beville and Scott Beville with Coldwell Banker Realty held the listing for the house. “I was so impressed upon first meeting Dog: such a sweet, personable man, ready to dive in to do whatever was needed in the final days of prepping the ranch for sale,” Karen told the source.
“Dog was fabulous help, mowing the front acres of the ranch and helping Francie with the hard work of sorting and moving.” Moreover, Chapman has revealed that he plans to focus on tackling the growing sex trafficking epidemic, with the launch of The D.O.G. Foundation. During his time in Florida, he will be assisting survivors of trafficking and abuse.
