Dinah Jane, formerly of Fifth Harmony, released her debut single Bottled Up featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Marc E. Bassy today, on HITCO.  The up-tempo, bouncy R&B track is the perfect end-of-summer song that sees the young solo star taking flight.

“I’d rather suffer with the consequences than share what I’m really thinking. Bottled Up is so honest. It’s something we all can relate to,” says Dinah about her first release. “It was a dream to get both Ty and Marc on the record. I’m a huge fan!” This track sees her reunited with Ty Dolla $ign, following their prior smash collaboration on Work From Home, when she was with Fifth Harmony.

Dinah treated fans to a performance of her new single during New York Fashion Week, as part of Teen Vogue and Snapchat's Body Party event. “I’ve been holding on to this record for about a year now,” she admits. “It’s been hard to keep quiet all this time but we had to make sure to do it right. There’s no rushing to this, even if your patience is always being tested.”

A rather unbelievable journey brought her to this point. Born of Polynesian descent and raised in Orange County, she made her vocal debut at church one Sunday to a standing ovation, and by the age of 11, her covers of Leona Lewis and Beyoncé started to gain traction online. Soon after, she joined Fifth Harmony and spent the next five years on a rollercoaster to pop superstardom.

In recent months, in addition to logging many studio hours, Dinah Jane also shot a small role for the Netflix film, The After Party. And now, with this debut release, listeners everywhere will get to know Dinah Jane like never before as she unveils more music in 2018.
