'Did she perform TWICE?' Eagle-eyed fans spot something MAJORLY wrong with Mariah Carey's hair

Carey performed a medley of her greatest holiday hits during the show

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Mariah Carey performed a two-hour holiday special on Tuesday, December 20 on CBS. However, Darren M Haynes, Emmy Award-winning anchor of WUSA9, tweeted curiously about the singer's hair styling and editing in a clip. He tweeted, "Look at Mariah Carey’s hair LOOK CLOSELY Her hair goes from curly to straight. Did she perform twice before edits?"

Carey has always been famous for her special holiday performances. Meanwhile, her recent show became famous for her performance with her daughter, Monroe as the mother-daughter duo sang the beloved Christmas carol 'Away in a Manger' together. Carey performed a medley of her greatest holiday hits during the show.

The 52-year-old also brought out some of her famous friends, including actress Drew Barrymore, Billy Porter, Jermaine Dupri and Slick Rick. She said, before welcoming Monroe to the stage, 'When I had my greatest day ever was my birthing day, when I gave birth to my twins, Moroccan and Monroe. And I got my little daughter, miss Monroe, here welcoming her little one to the stage," reported Daily Mail. 

As soon as the tweet came in, fans quickly reacted to the same. A user said, "Who cares? She sang beautifully both nights!." Another wrote, "First thing I noticed when k turned it on. Ans once I saw it, it’s all I could focus on. So I turned it off. Very shoddy edit work."

A tweet read, "It’s not shoddy. They used footage from both concerts at MSG. What is the problem with that???." Another user claimed, "They SAID they would use the footage from both nights at Madison Square Garden, so that’s what they did."  A user claimed, "Yes, I kept rewinding to see, editors kind of missed it." "I came to twitter just to make sure I wasn't the only one who noticed," wrote another. 

Meanwhile, a user stated, "NO WAY!! It absolutely can’t be!! A concert special cut from two different performances????!!!!." However, another read, "I would have never thought to look for that." A tweet said, "All I know, is that she looks fabulous!." Darren also added, "It’s not about the singing. That was great!! She was great!! The editing was bad."
