'Pure cuteness!' Fans shower love as Demi Moore tries to get her 1.5 lbs chihuahua in Guinness World Record

Demi Moore's pet dog, Pilaf, is half a pound larger than the current record holder, a chihuahua named Miracle Milly, who lives in Puerto Rico

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Looks like dog-mother Demi Moore, 60, is on a mission to give her pet dog, Pilaf, recognition in the Guinness World Record. The ‘G.I. Jane’ star recently took to her social media to post two pictures of Pilaf, who she claims was born in 2020. In the first picture, the ‘Striptease’ star can be seen sitting on her couch with Pilaf on her lap. Moore can be seen wearing a comfortable gray sweatshirt with her name written on the front. Her cat, Fitten, can also be seen in the photograph along with a Starbucks cup for reference to show just how tiny her dog is. 

The second photo of the series is the solo snap of Moore’s teacup chihuahua looking directly towards the camera wearing a red tee shirt and a plate of food resting in front. The two times Golden Globe nominee writes in the caption, “Alright friends, we’re doing it. Let’s see if we can get @pilaf.littlemouse noticed by @guinnessworldrecords! Our sweet girl was born on November 9, 2020, and is 700 grams. (Cat and coffee cup for scale). #pilaf4guinness." The current record holder is a chihuahua from Puerto Rico named Miracle Milly who is half a pound lighter than Pilaf.

Moore, who is a mother of three, shares three daughters with her former husband, Bruce Willis, namely Rummer, Scout, and Tallulah Willis. The family was recently seen celebrating Bruce Willis’s birthday which also marked his first birthday since getting diagnosed with dementia. The chihuahua was also present at the celebration quite remarkably.

All about adorable Pilaf

The little dog is a regular on Moore's Instagram page. The 'Nothing But Trouble' star often shares pictures of herself posing with Pilaf. In November, last year, she posted photos of Pilaf with the caption, "A little morning reading at @amannewyork 🤍 Thanks for a beautiful stay!" In another instance, she wrote, "Mornings with Pilaf ♥️". 

On her four-legged companion's second birthday, the star posted, "Another trip around the sun with Pilaf! Happy 2nd birthday to my little mouse ♥️". Pilaf was also an integral part of Moore's Christmas and New Year's Celebrations. She posted with a photo of the dog, "The gift that keeps on giving!"

‘PILAF 4 guinesss!!!'

The ‘Ghost’ actress’s Instagram wall was filled with comments showering love for the little canine. Sofia Vergara shared her willingness to pet a similar one by saying, “I want one." While Emma Heming Willis, Bruce Willis’s current wife made a case for the cat Fitten, “I’m all for it! And while you’re at it Fitten (the cat) needs to get some recognition too!! #fitten4guinness too 😂 #oldestcat." Moore’s daughter Tallulah supported her mother’s cause by saying, “PILAF 4 guinesss!!!” Zac Posen commented, “She’s a tiny lil dream!” 

“Hopefully breeders will not continue to breed these pups. However this one is alive and precious and to be celebrated!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️,” commented one fan. “That is one cute dog,” remarked another. The third remarked, “Little gremlin, cute on though. 😂” One user said, "Pure Cuteness!" Another added, "Hope he makes it!" A fan wrote, "~2 Ibs of companionship."
