Is Demi Moore ‘chasing’ Tom Cruise? Shock rumor claims actress has always had soft spot for Top Gun star
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Demi Moore has reportedly set her eyes on Hollywood's 'Top Gun' Tom Cruise following her short-lived romance with 46-year-old chef Daniel Humm. While Moore's pursuit of Cruise appears to be only work-related, some tease that might not be the only case. The actress, 60, was previously dating Humm but the pair went separate ways in November 2022.
Moore is also a strong helping hand to her entire family in the wake of her former husband Bruce Willis' deteriorating health. "She's been chasing after Tom, pestering him about working together again, and he's not exactly discouraging her," spilled a source to RadarOnline while adding, "No one thinks it's just about work." The insider added, "She's been fond of Tom for years and they've been in the friend zone since the '90s when they did 'A Few Good Men'. It's all about timing and Tom's star power has never been stronger than it is now." Moreover, the stars reportedly have a lot in common.

Moore and Cruise share mutual interests
As per the outlet, Moore has "lots of Scientology friends and is well-liked in that tight-knit community and the admiration is shared." Moreover, her mother Virginia King was a Scientologist, and "Demi would attend meetings." Cruise, on the other hand, is the most famous celebrity to advocate for the Church of Scientology. Moore’s alleged interest in Scientology rose back when she began dating Sean Friday, who is a drummer in the band Dead Sara and was born into the religion. However, it all ended after she began dating Willis who “banned her” from attending more meetings.
'Demi and Tom have more in common than people realize'
Taking note of their mutual Scientology beliefs, the insider noted, "So, Demi and Tom have more in common than people realize," while adding, "Friends on both sides could see them together. She's the adrenaline junkie who would be right beside him jumping out of planes." The source concluded, "When Demi sets her mind on something, she doesn't quit until she gets it."
Moore's personal life is also going through a tense phase following her ex-husband Bruce Willis's frontotemporal dementia diagnosis. However, the Willis family has not lost hope and is looking for a miracle. The 'Die Hard' actor is also excited about the birth of his first grandchild. "He's determined to stay coherent and lucid for as long as possible so his grandchild can have some happy memories of a grandfather who was present and active in his or her life," a friend close to them said last month, as per the outlet. He also added, "He's dead-set that this new baby is going to get the best he has to offer."
