Demi Lovato cancels rest of 'Tell me You Love Me' world tour to focus on her recovery and rehab
Demi Lovato has canceled the rest of her world tour which included the remaining shows in Mexico and South America after deciding to prioritize her health. She is supposed to be in treatment for quite some time and, as the press release by Lotus Production informs, she "is focusing on her recovery".
Lovato was supposed to perform on September 20 and 22 in Mexico, along with a six-city tour including Chile, Argentina, and Brazil in November. The cancelation of the shows is probably a result of Lovato's overdose on July 24 when she was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after she was found unconscious at her home. She was reportedly treated with Narcan in order to reverse the effects of the narcotic overdose. She was released almost two weeks after the incident, on August 4, and is now expected to remain under treatment for an extended period of time.
