LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Deadpool & Wolverine', scheduled to release on July 26, 2024, is set to be one of the most exciting Marvel movies ever made.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman reprise the roles of Deadpool and Wolverine respectively, as they pair up for a mission that will change the history of MCU. It is expected to deliver sleek action with just the right amount of humor and surprises.

While we can't wait for the much-awaited reunion of the two superheroes, suspense builds over all the cameos we can expect in the film.

Marvel films are known for their unexpected cameos and the upcoming film wouldn't be any different when it comes to throwing surprises.

Ahead of its release, here's a rundown of the surprise appearances you can expect:

1. Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier

It is believed that Patrick Stewart might reprise his role as Charles Xavier aka Professor X in 'Deadpool & Wolverine'. This would be a nostalgic nod to the classic X-Men films.

His last appearance as Professor X was in 2022’s 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness'. On the 'Happy Sad Confused' podcast, Stewart hinted that his character may be revived for an upcoming MCU project.

He was quoted as “I have every confidence he’s still around."

When the host directly asked him about his possible comeback in 'Deadpool & Wolverine', he said, “It has come up, there’s been a process. But the last two to three years have been so difficult with the labor problems and the health problems, COVID, you know…”

Even though he didn't confirm his casting, fans can still keep their hopes up.

2. Aaron Stanford as Pyro

Thanks to the 'Deadpool & Wolverine' trailer, we know Aaron Stanford's Pyro will make an appearance. Fans of the original X-Men movies will recognize him as the fire-manipulating mutant.

His appearance is exciting as it was the least expected one. After he was defeated by Iceman in 2006's 'X-Men: The Last Stand', neither Stanford nor the fans expected his character to return.

As Stanford returns as Pyro after 18 years, we couldn't be more excited.

3. Dafne Keen as X-23

Dafne Keen is returning as X-23, or Laura Kinney after a gap of eight years. She was last seen in 'Logan' and her return is a highly anticipated event for fans of the 2017 film.

In the trailer, we see her talking to Wolverine by a campfire, which looks like an emotional reunion.

4. Lady Deathstrike

Lady Deathstrike, the supervillain character in Marvel, will appear in the upcoming film.

The character was previously played by Kelly Hu in 'X2: X-Men United.' Currently, it's not known if Hu will be returning to play Lady Deathstrike or if another actress has replaced her.

5. Stefan Kapičić as Colossus

A 'Deadpool' movie wouldn't be complete without Colossus. Stefan Kapičić will be back, bringing his strong and supportive character to the mix.

Stefan Kapičić has previously been a part of 'Deadpool' (2016) and 'Deadpool 2' (2018).

6. Jennifer Garner as Elektra

Jennifer Garner is seemingly set to return as Elektra, one of the film's villains. This return brings back another iconic Marvel character.

The character first appeared in Fox's 2003 movie 'Daredevil' before receiving her spin-off with 2005's 'Elektra'.

If we're lucky enough, we'll see her playing an integral role in 'Deadpool & Wolverine' rather than a short cameo.

7. Chris Hemsworth as Thor (Sort of)

In a surprising twist revealed at CinemaCon, Chris Hemsworth's Thor will appear crying over Deadpool's body, thanks to some clever editing.

Hemsworth himself was surprised by this cameo, as he never actually shot for the film. The scene was edited using the footage from 'Thor: The Dark World'.

In an interview with Comic Book Resources, Hemsworth said, "I didn't [know]. Am I in there? It's really cool. You kind of forget, and be like, 'Oh, cool! I'm part of the team. They're talking about me, and I'm not in [the movie]. But, I mean, that whole world is really cool to be part of. I think what makes it all look really cool is the interconnected nature of it."

With this star-studded lineup, 'Deadpool & Wolverine' is set to be an unforgettable addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
