'DWTS' Grease Night: The Miz fails to impress judges, but fans say 'he killed it'

The Miz may have brought a little too much energy for the judges' liking but fans keep the support coming on 'DWTS' on ABC

It's Monday night and you know what that means, yep it's 'Dancing With the Stars' night! ABC's beloved dance reality competition has already debuted a bunch of exciting episodes with the competition getting more heated and the contestants even more hungry for the win.

Amongst them is WWE star Mike 'The Miz' who has been blowing audiences away with his energy. For last weeks' Disney Night he along with partner Witney Carson did the Argentine tango for a grand total of 65 out of 80. For Grease Night we saw the two dancing the jive to 'Greased Lightnin' as the iconic Danny and Sandy. Here's what fans and judges thought of the performance.

Before the performance Mike said that he thought Danny was so cool and slick. He continued saying that Danny and Sandy's relationship reminds him of his wife of eight years and dedicated the dance to her. Judge Carrie Ann said he was amazing and that his dance had great energy but pointed out that it was a little rushed. She scored them an 8. Judge Bruno said the timing didn't work at the end but it was great performance, giving him a 8. Judge Len pointed out that one or two steps were problematic and the act looked rushed, but it had high octane. He scored them an 8. Judge Derek agreed with the rest and said that although it was so much fun they lost a little clarity. He scored them an 8 as well for a grand total of 32 out of 40. The Miz made it through the elimination and will return next week. Here's how fans reacted.

A fan commented, "THE ONLY THING THAT IS PROBLEMATIC IS THE WAY THE JUDGES SCORE LIKE WTF THE MIZ GETS A LOWER SCORE THAN OLIVIA WHO LITERALLY JUST TWIRLED? #dwts". Another user said, "THE MIZ AND WITNEY DID SO WELL. the miz is so cuteee awww . #dwts". Another viewer said, "The Miz is low key one of my favorites this season. #DWTS"      

A user said, "Ok THAT might be the best dance of the night. The Miz is easily the most entertaining this season #dwts" Another fan said, "The Miz I was screaming and out of my seat dancing !! Killed it. Never mind the judges lol #DWTS". A viewer also said, "The Miz had me out my seat okkkk #dwts".
