'Dancing with the Stars' season 27 week 5: What to expect from the upcoming 'Disney Night'

Putting on their 'Mickey' ears and getting ready to transform into some of their favorite Disney characters, the celebrities are set to give viewers and judges an exciting time.

ABC's hit reality show, 'Dancing with the Stars' is on its fifth week now, and the thrill and excitement just rose up this week as the remaining nine celebrities compete against each other to secure their spot on the show, via the theme, 'Disney Night.' Putting on their 'Mickey' ears and getting ready to transform into some of their favorite Disney characters, the celebrities are set to give viewers and judges some majorly exciting performances, live on Monday, October 22 (8:00-10:00 pm EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

The Disney spirit will shine as the show opens with a spectacular number, featuring 'Dancing with the Stars: Juniors' host and Season 25 Mirrorball winner Jordan Fisher singing and dancing with the stars, pros and 'Dancing with the Stars: Juniors' Ariana Greenblatt, Jason Maybaum and the Juniors pros. Jordan returns later in the show to sing 'A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes' from 'Cinderella', alongside Greenblatt and Maybaum. In addition, there will be a special guest performance by Andrea Bocelli and Mateo Bocelli on the song 'Fall on Me' from Disney’s upcoming motion picture, 'The Nutcracker and the Four Realms'.”

And hitting the ballroom floor in style throughout the night will be Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck as well. Each remaining celebrity couple will perform to songs from Disney films, including Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming 'Ralph Breaks the Internet', and classic films 'Beauty and the Beast', 'Mulan', 'The Little Mermaid' and 'Tangled', among others. The couples will perform a foxtrot, waltz, Charleston, jazz, jive, quickstep, Viennese waltz or contemporary.

Here's a full list (in alphabetical order) of the star contestants and their pro-partners, and the songs they will perform to in the upcoming episode of DWTS' season 27.

Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten do the Foxtrot to 'Just Around the Riverbend' from 'Pocahontas', while Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess perform a Waltz to 'Part of Your World' from 'The Little Mermaid'. One of the strongest contenders this season, DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold bring a Charleston to the floor on 'A Star is Born' from 'Hercules', while Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe spin up some Jazz to 'When Will My Life Begin?' from 'Tangled'. 



 

Fan favorite Joe 'Grocery Store Joe' Amabile and Jenna Johnson dance a Jive to 'Zero' from 'Ralph Breaks the Internet', and John Schneider and Emma Slater are coming geared up with a Quickstep to 'I Wan’na Be Like You' from 'The Jungle Book'. Another surprisingly strong participant, Juan Pablo Di Pace and Cheryl Burke do the Viennese Waltz on 'Gaston' from 'Beauty and the Beast', while Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber perform a Contemporary to 'Reflection' from 'Mulan'. Last but not the least, Zombies actor Milo Manheim and Witney Carson put up a Quickstep to 'Incredits 2' from 'The Incredibles 2'.

For week five, viewers may cast their votes for their favorite 'Dancing with the Stars' couples via phone and online at www.ABC.com, beginning from the start of the episode on the East Coast at 8:00 p.m. EDT/5:00 p.m. PDT and closing at 4:00 a.m. EDT/1:00 a.m. PDT on Tuesday. The show will be hosted by two-time Emmy winning host Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews and judged by an expert panel comprising of Len Goodman, and dancers/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
