Who is Dan Brown's wife? Blythe Brown sues author over 'secret life' and four affairs
Dan Brown, the author of the best-seller, 'The Da Vinci Code', was sued by his ex-wife Blythe for leading a double life, keeping secrets, and having extra marital affairs with four women, one of which was her horse trainer. The author has apparently settled the lawsuit with his wife but the details of this settlement are not made public yet.
In 2020, Blythe, 69, sued Dan, 57. Earlier in the same year, the duo had recently settled their divorce from a 21-year marriage. Dan Brown was sued for 'sordid extra-marital affairs' and of 'secretly plundering significant sums of their marital assets.'

This lawsuit has also been settled by Dan but the details are yet to be revealed. During his divorce, the author of 'The Da Vinci Code' had an estimated net worth of around $160 million. He was also sued for libel and slander, among others.
This lawsuit became a public affair in 2020 and initially, the author was worried that it may impact his reputation and career negatively. However, his publisher thought differently and explained to Dan that this drama may increase sales. It was heard that the publisher told the author that people have a notion about Dan being a boring man but these multiple affairs make him seem interesting and people will think there's finally some story, reported the Daily Mail. The publisher said, "Are you kidding? Everyone thinks you’re the most boring guy in the world… multiple affairs with beautiful women, finally there’s a story!"
In an earlier interview in August 2020, Dan said his ex-wife was claiming things in the air and that they were senseless. While explaining his affairs he said, "She was throwing everything at the wall, hoping something would stick. We both know why she was upset and she had a right to be, but we were lonely and we looked for fulfilment in other places."
In the same interview, Dan revealed that he was now countersuing his ex-wife Blythe in part for the libel and slander. He said, "I'm not going to disparage my former wife like she has me. But the lawsuit was written with no regard for the truth. She received half of everything [in the divorce, which was finalised in December, more than half of everything, actually, and I'm shocked that she's coming back for more and I completely dispute her account of what happened. It's all been pretty sobering."
Dan's mistress
Apparently, the 30-year old horse trainer that Blythe had appointed for looking after her prized ponies had allegedly recieved a Fresian horse worth $350,000 called LimiTed Edition. While explaining this action, Dan said Blythe has got plenty.
