LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In the latest update on the alleged trouble in Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly's relationship is that the former reportedly discovered “DM’s and text messages” on the rapper’s phone, which had her convinced that “he has been having an affair." Reports of trouble brewing between the two started last week after the ‘Transformers’ star's now-deleted Instagram page included some confusing posts.

One such post was a slideshow that came with a caption that read, “You can taste the dishonesty/it’s all over your breath.” An insider told Page Six, “They are broken up, but Megan is seeing where they stand. She wants to see what they can salvage.” The same source also claimed that the 32-year-old singer “really wants to make up”.

Previously, another insider told PEOPLE, “They haven't officially called off the engagement but Megan took her ring off. They have had issues in the past, but things seem pretty serious this time.” However, according to another insider, “Megan is still upset but is not giving up on their relationship."

These new details came as several web sleuths accused Kelly’s guitarist, Sophie Lloyd, without any proof whatsoever, of all the problems in the couple's relationship. However, Lloyd’s reps hit back by stating, “Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media.”

“Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship is untrue. It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else,” Lloyd's management team told Page Six on February 15.
