Sia has announced that she is set to drop a brand new single titled 'Courage to Change'. Informing fans about her latest release, the 'Chandelier' singer took to Twitter and announced, "'Courage To Change' - out tomorrow - Team Sia."

The track 'Courage to Change' will be a part of the soundtrack to the movie 'Music'. The soundtrack album previously had one single titled 'Together'. 'Courage to Change', just like 'Together', will be used to promote the 2020 movie 'Music' which is going to be Sia's directional debut. She has also written and composed all songs on 'Music'. The film's screenplay was co-written by Sia and children's book author Dallas Clayton. 'Music' stars Kate Hudson, Leslie Odom Jr. and Maddie Ziegler.

From its title, 'Courage to Change', just like 'Together', seems like an uplifting song that talks about self-love and leaving the past behind. This makes sense as 'Music' is a story about an autistic teenager (Maddie Ziegler) who finds herself being cared for by her sober, drug-dealing sister (Kate Hudson). Talking to iHeartRadioCA about her directorial debut movie 'Music', Sia explained, "Maddie Ziegler plays a teenager who is very low-functioning on the autism spectrum and all the musical takes place in her brain." Just like 'Together', 'Courage to Change' will also be featured in the movie.

Fans of Sia took to Twitter to express their excitement about the release. One fan, stating facts about Sia's career and calling her 'Queen of Change', said, "Sia wrote 'Courage' for P!nk, wrote 3 songs for Celine's album named 'Courage' and now she'll put out 'Courage to Change' from the 'Music' soundtrack. We stan the #queenofcourage," while another speculated saying, "It’s co-written by pink omg." Another Sia fan simply said, "Can't wait for it!!"

A different fan, speculating what the meaning of the song could be, wrote, "I adore your voice and most of your music...but this title irks me. 'Courage to Change' what? Please tell those who love you that you are NOT going political like the rest of the Holly-turds!" while another fan, clearing up confusion about Pink's song by similar name, tweeted, "It‘s not the same song. At the same writing session 'Courage' was written, Sia, Pink and Greg Kurstin also wrote another song called 'Courage To Change'. This new song contains the lyric: "World, I want to leave you better?""

Sia's eighth studio album 'Everyday Is Christmas' was released in 2017. Her upcoming studio album, titled 'Reasonable Woman' is scheduled to release in 2021. Apart from directing and writing the movie 'Music', Sia was also featured on the track 'On' by BTS from their album 'Map of the Soul: 7' and on the track 'Exhale' by Kenzie.
