'Upload' Season 1's ending left us in the lurch as Nora (Andy Allo) left town because she believed Nathan (Robbie Amell) did not reciprocate her feelings. Good news is that the 'Upload' panel in Comic-Con 2020 might address whether the two will find their way back to each other, what's in store for Nathan as Ingrid (Allegra Edwards) has joined him in the digital paradise and a lot more.

The 'Upload' panel discussion will be held on Thursday, July 23, at 2 pm EST. During this discussion, creator, executive producer and director Greg Daniels and stars Robbie Amell,  Andy Allo, Kevin Bigley, Allegra Edwards and Zainab Johnson will discuss how they brought this futuristic comedy to life as well as share fun behind-the-scene details from Season 1. They will also give a little hint on what fans can expect in Season 2. The panel will be moderated by Engadget's Cherlynn Low.

For the unversed, the premise of 'Upload' revolves around a digital afterlife into which people can "upload" their loved ones.  Their loved ones can choose to upload them into luxurious heavens if they can afford it. However, heaven isn't really heaven, as they still have to pay for things and have "top-ups" to afford certain amenities.

At the end of Season 1, an emotional Nora calls Nathan and reveals her feelings for him. She says that she knows he really isn't a bad person, despite whatever he might have done earlier.  She confesses that she loves him and that they will uncover the real conspiracy. Nathan can't talk because of low memory as he has only 2gig, which means that he can only get a top up a month later. He does not respond to Nora's love admission. He cries and a broken-hearted Nora leaves the city, thinking he ignored her. At the end of the episode, Ingrid visits Nathan and gives him a 1gig. She tells Nathan that she uploaded it for him. He is furious and he loses the 1gig.

In an exclusive interview with MEA WorldWide (MEAWW), Robbie Amell had opened up on whether Nathan and Nora will find a way back to each other. "At the end of Season 1, they said a lot, but it's about how much was heard. Nora needs to protect herself now. It will be an interesting dynamic to have Ingrid's character being uploaded."

Speaking about Season 2, he had said, "We met with the writers for Season 2, before the lockdown, Amazon was confident with the show and opened the writers' room and luckily the show premiered well and we could have a Season 2. Greg started thinking about this show 30 years ago and actually had a Season 2 and 3 mapped out. He was a writer on 'Saturday Night Live' and he thought of this concept but he felt it was too out there. But then stuff like 'Black Mirror' paved the way."

'Upload' is streaming on Amazon Prime. This time, San Diego's Comic Con 2020 will be held virtually and is free and accessible to all. The dates are between July 22 and 26.
