We haven't seen Maggie Greene on 'The Walking Dead' ever since the time jump in Season 9. After Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) left, the series jumped forward by a few years and it was revealed that Maggie was no longer a part of the communities. The show explained her quiet exit as going to join the mysterious Georgie and help other communities. There have been several theories about Maggie's story after this, including the fact that she may just have a link to 'Fear The Walking Dead' group or just might have started her own group.

While fans speculated about her exit, many hoped that she would return in Season 10. The good news is, she has been confirmed to make a return for Season 11 and she just might be there for the Season 10 finale and bring down Beta's squad, once and for all. And this time, she might come with weapons and powerful backup too (or so we hope).

The most popular theory is Maggie is a part of Georgie's group or is now the leader as Georgie handed reins of leadership over to her. Maggie has weathered a lot of crises in the post-apocalyptic world and now has the power to lead communities, despite all odds being against her. She could be the new Rick Grimes and might have more knowledge and power than before.

In fact, Angela Kang had hinted a powerful new allegiance during the 'Friday Night With The Morgans', and it's quite possible that Maggie's re-appearance might be tied to that. "Obviously we've got this new power group of four, with Princess and Ezekiel and Eugene and Yumiko, that is off on the road, and so we are going to see some interesting turns in that," she said. She also teased that this formation of the new group could lead to the events of Season 11.

Maggie's comeback would be at a crucial point for Hilltop community as they have already lost two of their leaders, Jesus and Tara to The Whisperers. Considering Maggie has a lot of scores to settle, including killing Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in all probability for brutally murdering her husband Glenn, she will come and take revenge on all those who caused her and her friends emotional trauma for years.
