Erik Kripke shared that the show 'The Boys' will be going after White Supremacy, White Nationalism, racism, systemic oppression in Season 2. Right after, a clip from Season 2 was shared which featured Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother's Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon), The Female (Karen Fukuhara) -- all of them on a speed boat in a chase scene with supe Deep (Chase Crawford) riding on a back of huge whale. In keeping with the theme of the show, Deep manages to arrive at the shore first and as he looks impressed with himself (yes, he is a narcissistic as****e), Billy decides to wipe the smirk off of his face by smashing the boat directly into the whale. What follows is a bloodbath, but what else would you expect?

Urban then shared how this scene, which he called the weirdest thing anyone had probably done in their career, was shot. He also confessed that it was a pretty surreal experience since it was hot and stinky in Canadian summer. Turns out the showrunner also let Urban drive the speedboat at enormous speed. The showrunner explained how the building the whale was one of his proudest moments because of how natural the bursting of the whale's belly looked.

Urban also shared that Season 2 also succeeds in putting individuals together who are unlikely pairs and yet succeed and points out how much he enjoyed working with Erin Moriarty. He explained that Billy and Starlight (Moriarty) would be one such pairing and the dynamic between them would be exciting.

The panel also addressed Homelander's (Antony Starr) obsession -- Oedipus complex -- which is also referenced in this scene where he is licking away at milk from a feeder bottle. Turns out the milk that he is drinking/licking is Stillwell's breastmilk. This is after he killed her. Yes. It is disturbing and Urban's expression at this point in the panel reflected our thoughts.

The panel was an hour-long address about where each of the characters is at the beginning of Season 2. How Billy is looking forward to rescuing Rebecca, Homelander dealing with his painfully lonely existence, Hughie doing the best of what he can in the situation, or Deep coming out of his exile to help hunt The Boys down.

Also, Jessie T. Usher teased how A-Train will now face the consequences of abusing compound V and the amount of hatred that he carries within him after the heart attack that he suffered at the end of season 1 and even the fight with Starlight. The position that A-train is at is this insecurity that drives him throughout the first season and this will also influence him second season.
