With the pandemic restricting large gatherings around the world, San Diego Comic-Con 2020 was canceled. However, fans do not have to worry as the organizers have put together a virtual event that will see the presence of star cast and showrunners of many of your favorite TV shows. 'The Boys', one of the most celebrated superhero TV shows, has confirmed that they will be present for a virtual panel. It is to take place on July 23 and will see executive producer Eric Kripke join the cast members Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara and Aya Cash for a panel that will be moderated by Aisha Tyler.

The second season of the show is slated to release on September 4, which makes this panel even more important as it would definitely give fans of the show more clues and hints about what is to come in the upcoming season. The teaser trailer of the show which was released on July 8 was received extremely well as it packed a lot of energy and managed to keep spoilers away. The Supes and the Boys are in for a long, bloody and disturbing fight ahead in the season and it would be exciting to see the cast members reveal about their experience behind the scenes.

The panel might also release the full cut trailer for the upcoming season as well. The Comic-con has always been a place where new trailers, first look images, and confirmation of new seasons and shows are released. So the release of the trailer is highly probable and that introduces a whole lot of Easter eggs that can add to the anticipation that has already been built high for the show.

This brings us to the next exciting piece of information. 'The Boys' Season 3. So far, an official confirmation regarding a season renewal has not been made. There have been hints about it, yes, but not an official confirmation. However, according to a recent report on Collider, Jeffery Dean Morgan might have just got himself cast in Season 3 of the show. Speaking about this, showrunner Kripke had said, "I absolutely have (thought about casting Morgan). There’s one role we’re already talking about. He has to, uh, we have to like coordinate. Because you know, he’s on 'The Walking Dead', so he has another home. But we already talked about one role, and there might be a potential other that we’re talking about. But we are, just this past week we were literally texting back and forth about trying to figure out how to get him on the show. I don’t think it’s a done deal yet, but the will is there, and we’re both talking about it.”

Now for some context, when the first season had aired and became the next big thing, Morgan had lobbied for a role in the future seasons on Twitter. So not only a new trailer, we might also get an official confirmation regarding a new season.
