Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin team up for first time for North American arena tour commencing this fall
Two of the biggest Latin music superstars on the planet are joining forces for their upcoming fall stadium tour of the United States and Canada.
It was recently announced that starting in September 2020, Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin would be co-headlining their first-ever joint North American tour, called The Arena Tour. The two Grammy award-winning superstars will be joined on the tour by a special guest, Sebastián Yatra, who is a rising Latin music star. The artists are looking forward to entertaining millions on this new city-hopping musical journey.
Although he is a relative newcomer compared to these two silver foxes, Yatra has already made an indelible mark on the pop music world. His album 'Fantasia' debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin pop chart. So far, Yatra has a total of four Latin Grammy nominations and he has already won two Latin American Music awards.
Both Enrique and Ricky have been planning to release new records this year. Enrique, 44, has had mega-hits in the past with songs like 'Hero' and 'Bailando', and some of his latest tunes include 'Subeme La Radio' and 'Duele El Corazon'. The singer, who is married to tennis star Anna Kournikova, is also slated to release his latest album this year.
As for Ricky, the 48-year-old Latino heartthrob known for dancefloor classics such as 'Livin' La Vida Loca', 'She Bangs' and 'Vente Pa' Ca' is also slated to release a new studio album in 2020. His recent single 'Tiburones' is set to be featured on this upcoming album as well.
The traveling co-headlining act starring the talented trio is called The Arena Tour and it is being produced by Live Nation. It will commence on September 5 in Phoenix, Arizona, and will end on October 30 in Atlanta, Georgia. You can check out a full breakdown of dates and venues for The Arena Tour below.
