The closing arguments in the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard defamation trial have been disrupted due to the storm warning that blared through the courthouse in Fairfax, Virginia on May 27, Friday. As Heard's attorney Ben Rottenborn was in the process of completing his closing statements, phones began to go off which resulted in a pause.

Judge Penney Azcarate instructed all individuals present in court to silence their phones and devices before the 'Aquaman' actress' attorney could continue and move towards the conclusion.

The storm warnings also resulted in the courtroom live stream turning choppy. Thunderstorm warnings are affecting places across northern Virginia, central Maryland, and Washington DC, as of now.

Rottenborn's closing statement revolved around the message that if jurors rule in Depp's favor, it would make them an "accomplice" to Depp's abuse and Heard a "global humiliation". On the other hand, Camille Vasquez, Depp's attorney, explained to jurors how a ruling in Depp's favor would "give Mr Depp his life back" after it was "ruined" by Heard's allegations and "vicious lie".

Amidst the storm warnings, the hashtag "#Amber Alert" has taken the front seat on Twitter and netizens are sharing their live reactions to the weather warming. One said, "Red flags are for dudes. For girls, It’s now called Amber Alert. You have been informed thusly."

A user said, "So let me get this right - closing argument just happens to be the exact day 6 years after she started this BS, during her team’s statement there is an “Amber alert” and there is a storm brewing outside the courthouse!!! Fate is talking #AmberHeardlsALiar #AmberHeardIsAnAbuser."

Another highlighted, ""There appears to be an Amber Alert" - Judge Penny."

A philosophical user said, "The Universe is trying to help the jury make their decision."

Another Twitter user wrote, "So we've got a tornado warning in fairfax AND an Amber Alert. The universe is literally SCREAMING at this court room to find Amber guilty. #amberheardvsjohnnydepp."

Speaking of the coincidence, a user said, "it was literally SO spot on AMBER ALERT."

Another user noted, "It's also crazy that none of this disruption was going off during Johnny's closing. I mean I'm not insinuating anything I'm just.... talking."
