Will Chloe x Halle collab with Beyoncé or Doja Cat? Fans speculate after singers tease 'Friday surprise'

The R&B duo of sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey announced they have a surprise this Friday on September 4. The 'Grown-ish' stars teased the arrival of something special and wrote "Surprise coming fridaaaayyy."

Fans immediately began speculating what this surprise could be. While many believed it to be a remix of the duo's hit single 'Do It', their first track to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, others thought the announcement could be a brand new single or an album. One Twitter user wrote, "Chloe x Halle do it this the remix they dont wanna tell you about before friday."

Another fan chimed in to express his wish of seeing Chloe x Halle collaborate with Beyoncé and Solange saying, "I’ve always thought that @chloexhalle should do a song with @Beyonce and @solangeknowles ... the video should start off with Chloe and Halle and trans to the adult them being bey and solo lol #wishfullthinking" 

Numerous fans started to guess what the announcement might be with the most popular consensus being that Chloe x Halle plan to drop a remix of 'Do It' this Friday. Fans began to speculate who the secret collaborator might be. While some fans believe it to be Doja Cat, others think it could be Normani, Ariana Grande or even Nicki Minaj or Beyoncé.

One fan, building on the collab theory hoped the duo have one with Doja Cat, "You used the frog emoji. Frogs are animals and cats are animals. You also used 4 aaaa’s when spelling Friday. Doja has 4 letters in her name. DOJA CAT ON THE DO IT REMIX WE WON!!!!!!!!"

Another fan, referring to Nicki Minaj, wrote, "If she’s not it we don’t want it."

Others simply wanted to know if it's Beyoncé who'll feature on their track this Friday saying, "It’s beyoncé on the remix?? we need answers."

Many fans strongly believe that the surprise guest could be either Megan Thee Stallion or Doja Cat as they tweeted, "Do It feat. Meg?" and "Omg but remember how doja cat was saying how she wanted to collab with chloe x halle for do it... this may be it."

Chloe x Halle released their sophomore album 'Ungodly Hour' in June 2020 featuring artists like Swae Lee and Mike Will Made-It.
