'Chicago Med' Season 5 Episode 10: Will April and Ethan break up over her kiss with Crockett?
In the Season 5 Fall Finale of 'Chicago Med', the writers dashed all hopes for "Chexton" and "Manstead" shippers.
In the case of "Manstead", once Natalie gets her memories back and rushes to Will to tell him she still loves him, he rejects her attempt at reconciliation and tells her that they are not good together.
For "Chexton", over worries that she has fertility issues, thereby throwing a wrench in her plans with Dr. Ethan Choi to have a baby, April acts out. At the end of the episode, Ethan leaves on deployment and April shares a passionate kiss with Dr. Crockett Marcel which fans had seen coming for a while after earlier episodes foreshadowed the moment.
When the show returns after the midseason break, we will see whether the kiss between April and Crockett led to much more, or whether they stopped it before things could be made worse.
In the promo for the episode, we see Ethan returning from deployment and his time away has made him realize how dear April is to him, and he even gets down on one knee! But before he can go any further, it looks like April will come clean to him about whatever went down between her and Dr. Marcel, and this might not end well.
Meanwhile, fans might be hoping for a reconciliation between Will Halstead and Natalie Manning after that heartbreaking moment in the fall finale. Will the two former sweethearts at least be able to remain friends or will there be awkwardness between them?
We also saw Dr. Daniel Charles throwing a farewell party for his wife, Caroline, who is dying from cancer. Most likely, when the show returns, there will be a time jump and we will be seeing Dr. Charles post the death of his wife.
