Spoiler alert for 'Chicago Fire' Season 8 Episode 15

As this week's episode of 'Chicago Fire' begins, paramedics Sylvie Brett and Emily Foster are called on an emergency late at night to an apartment building. There, they treat an approximately 17-year-old boy for overdosing.

On going through the boy's house, Brett and Foster come across two more teenagers overdosing. They are able to save two of the kids — the third unfortunately passes away on the way to Med. The Intelligence Unit from 'Chicago PD' is then put on the case to find out who is dealing the counterfeit oxy pills to the kids.

The next day, Sean Roman shows up at Firehouse 51 to talk to the paramedics. He tells them that the girl who died was best friends with his 17-year-old sister, Sarah, who has been missing since the previous week.

When Roman tells the rest of the Firehouse of his sister's recent wild behavior, Chief Wallace Boden mentions that the school Sarah goes to is where his wife is employed. When he speaks to his wife later that day, he learns that this is the second drug-related death that semester at the school.

Roman and Lt Kelly Severide go to speak to Sarah's friend at the school. There, the friend tells them that Sarah was going out with an older guy, Logan Peters who was 25.

Roman then goes looking for the man with Severide as his backup — going so far as to threaten someone with a gun. They learn that Logan rolls with the Southside Hustlers.

Though Severide wants to get Voight in, Roman resists — saying he doesn't want the cops' involvement lead to Logan getting away. Roman then tells Severide that he will call it in once he gets a chance to talk to Logan. However, Severide goes to Intelligence and tells them the information, and that Roman does not have his head straight.

When Severide talks to them, he learns that Roman has not told PD about his missing sister or her involvement with the overdose victims. Hours later, Roman is still missing and the firehouse and the police team up to solve what's going on with Roman.

Kim Burgess, Roman's former partner and girlfriend, thinks she might have an idea what could have happened with him. Adam Ruzek, Kim's former fiance who has always had an issue with Roman, is not happy that Roman is back in town.

When the fire trucks are called to deal with a house fire, they see Roman there and hear gunshots. Inside the burning house, the firefighters come across Travis, the boyfriend of the girl who died — he had been shot. Logan was also inside the house, but he got away.

The second part of the crossover will continue with 'Chicago PD'.

'Chicago Fire' airs on NBC on Wednesday nights at 9/8c.
