Jessie J-Channing Tatum breakup: A look at former power couple's whirlwind Instagram romance
Jessie J and Channing Tatum have split again. The couple first started dating in 2018. However, news about the power couple going separate ways surfaced around December 2019, for the first time. The duo eventually found their way back to each other in mid-January this year (2020) but have decided to part ways once again.
During the course of their two-year-long relationship, both Jessie and Channing have always had their fans filled in with what's happening in their personal lives and how they feel about each other through social media. It was through one of the posts on Channing's page that he first confirmed to have been dating the British singer. "This woman just poured her heart out on stage at the Royal Albert Hall. Whoever was there got to witness something special. Wow," wrote the actor in the caption, praising Jessi's performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London, in November 2018.
In March 2019, he posted a picture wishing Jessie on her birthday with a heartfelt message, "You came into this world on this day and lit it on fire. You have blessed our eyes, our ears, our hearts and our lives so thank you for just being you. You are so very special.", he wrote.
In September last year, Channing proved that he was the ideal boyfriend when he was spotted taking pictures of Jessie during the 2019 Rock in Rio festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Jessie later posted all the photos to her social media page and captioned it, "[Pics] of me in BR by Channing Tatum".
In January 2020, the actor responded to a hate comment that stated that Channing looked better with his ex Jenna Dewan. "And ain't nobody more stunning and beautiful to look at but even more as a human than Jess. And yeah that includes my ex," wrote the actor after directing the commenter to leave his page. A few hours later after the social media drama, the couple descended at the MusicCares Person of the Year gala honoring Aerosmith and Jessie posted a PDA video from the event within which she was seen kissing the actor on the mouth and nibbling playfully at his cheek.
Although, after their recent break-up, Channing seems like he's moved and is back on the dating scene again with rumors that he has rejoined Raya, the celebrity dating app. Jessie also posted a video of herself jamming to Whitney Houston's 'Queen of the Night' and she looks as happy as ever.
