'Lucky to be loved by you': Chandler Powell thanks 'amazing wife' Bindi Irwin after tonsils surgery
QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA: In a sweet appreciation post, Chandler Powell thanked his wife Bindi Irwin for being by his side. The 25-year-old had earlier been hospitalized for getting his tonsils removed, according to reports.
Sharing a selfie with the 'Crikey! It's the Irwins' star, Powell can be seen lying on a hospital bed, wearing a navy blue hospital gown. In the note praising his wife, he expressed his gratitude to her for "taking the best care" of him. The former wakeboarder also expressed his appreciation for his mother-in-law Terri Irwin, who has been taking care of the couple's one-year-old daughter Grace Irwin. He wrote, "Also, thank you Bunny (my awesome mum-in-law) for taking care of Grace while we’ve been in the hospital & I’ve been recovering."

The Australian TV personality responded to her husband's message with a short note of her own, describing him as "the greatest husband" and her mother as the "most amazing Bunny". She ended the tweet with a hilarious tongue-in-cheek remark, "Go team...tonsils?"
Several social media users wished Powell a speedy recovery and some even called him and his wife "couple goals". Bindi frequently features in the images posted by Powell on his Instagram account and he is always gushing with praise for her. He captioned a recent picture, "Feeling grateful every day to live in such a beautiful part of the world with an even more beautiful wife."
Earlier, Powell had also shared an adorable picture with his daughter Grace Warrior Irwin Powell on Instagram with people gushing over the father-daughter duo. He described her as his "little wild child". The two can be seen at the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve where the baby "is loving every minute here". She is seen snuggling up against her father who calls her cuddles "the best thing in the world".
24-year-old Bindi also frequently takes to social media to express her love for her husband. In an Instagram post from July, she shared a family picture with the caption, "Just wanted you to know that you’re the best and we love you @chandlerpowell ❤️."
