Fans of Celine Dion are distraught over the news of the diagnosis of her disease Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS). The disease, which is incurable, causes her to have uncontrollable muscle spasms.

The singer revealed her rare neurological disorder in a video she shared on Instagram. After announcing her health condition, she announced the postponement of her concerts from spring 2023 to 2024, which are part of her Courage World Tour, as well as the cancelation of 8 of her concerts in 2023.

Leaving sufferers as 'human statues,' the disease controls and locks body movements in a way that the person cannot move or even speak. In the post she shared on Instagram, she said "I've had health problems for a long time and it's not easy for me to cope with them. I am deeply saddened to say that I will not be ready to resume my Europe tour in February,", announcing the postponement of her concert.

Treatments help the progression of the illness to slow down though this rare condition is incurable. The singer revealed that she has been trying to do all that is possible to minimize the symptoms.

The singer also took to Twitter to inform her fans of the postponement of her concert tour to 2024 and 2023 show cancellations.

Responding to Celine's revealing of her medical condition and the rescheduling of her fourteenth concert tour, fans across the world rushed to console and offer their support to the Canadian singer.

A Twitter user wrote: "Utterly heartbreaking video. It really is true that your health is your wealth. Sending much love to Celine from Belfast, Ireland. 30 years a fan. I can wait a little longer. Get well soon Celine." while another wrote: "Celine i’ll wait as long as it takes to see you in concert again all i care about is you being well again and not letting these spasms affect you too much. please dont rush your recovery and take each day as it comes. love you forever." With a heavy heart, one user tweeted: "Dear Celine, I am typing this through my tears. You are so loved by millions around the world, including me. Sending you prayers as you deal with this diagnosis, I know you will fight to get better, and that your heart will go on and on." and another wrote "Sending so much love and healing energy to you Celine! love you sm can’t wait to see you when you’re ready!". A fan waiting for her concert tweeted: "Heartbreaking to hear about your health issues. I really hope & pray that you make a return to full health. I bought 2 tickets for London shows in 2019 & we'll keep this date with you, so we can all smile & share your amazing music in 2024. Lots of love to you. Mark & Jerome xx." A fan commented, Take care of yourself Queen We know you ll be back soon to eat the stage once again as you always do. We re rooting for you." Another user commented, "What is going on here? I hope she's ok. Maybe the tour should just be cancelled, I don't think when people booked it they were planning to see her 5 years later."  Another fan commented, "OMG. I'm so sorry you're going through this! My heart breaks for you. I'll pray for you. You make incredible music. I've always loved your voice.
