Celine Dion is on her 14th concert tour, aptly named 'Courage', as she shuts down those shaming her body for being "too thin".

Rumors suggesting an eating disorder have been swirling around the 51-year-old Canadian singer since she appeared at Alexandre Vauthier's fashion show in Paris in January and looked like she had lost a considerable amount of weight.

Many fans raised their concerns on social media over Dion being "too thin" and "weak", and in an interview with Good Morning America in April this year, she attributed her weight loss to her "rediscovery of her passion for dancing" and said, "everything is fine".

However, the criticisms have not stopped. On the opening night of her 'Courage' tour in Quebec, Dion batted away the comments over her appearance in a chat with Entertainment Tonight.

Flexing her biceps, she asked, "Is there anything wrong with my body?" In her interview with GMA, Dion said, "I do ballet. I do a lot of stretching and I work out because it helps my mind, body, and soul."

She added, "When you go back to when I was 12 years old, my face was rounder because you have more fat when you're younger. But I've always been very thin."

Over the years in the entertainment industry, Dion has learned to deal with the criticisms in a business filled with those who love to nitpick every detail.

She said, "If you don't want to be criticized, you are in the wrong place. I take the positive. I take what's good for me. I leave behind what is not good for me."

"I let my management take care of that, and if it hurts anyone, they will take care of that. And I need to focus on what's right for me, how I feel and, last but not least, you can't please everybody," she added,

However, Dion revealed that she is grateful to her fans for showing up for her tour. She said, "I want (my fans) to know how much I appreciate the fact that they came to my invitation, in a way, which they accepted and they were absolutely amazing guests."

"I just wanted them to know that through the years, through my whole life, they have been there for me," she added. Dion had postponed the next four shows of her 'Courage' tour following strict doctors' orders to take two weeks to fully recover from a throat virus.

On September 26, Dion released the video for her new song, 'Imperfections' and has been received with glowing reviews from fans.

One fan commented, "She's really brave to put herself out there after having been bullied as a child and her looks and weight criticized her whole career. All those people criticizing her appearance are rude, inconsiderate, and have completely missed the point of the video."
