'Thankful that my mom is still here': Melanie Griffith embraces mother Tippi Hedren in heartwarming picture
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Melanie Griffith shared a heartwarming picture with her mother Tippi Hedren on her social media on Monday, November 28. The mother-daughter duo was seen snuggling up to each other while laying on a couch.
"Thankful that my Mom is still here with us," Griffith wrote in the caption of her Instagram post, adding a black heart emoji alongside the photo of her and Hedren, 92, embracing each other against tiger and cheetah print cushions. The tiger-print sofa represents Hedren's storied career as a wildlife advocate, according to the Daily Mail. Several celebrities including Mario Lopez and Olivia Harrison brimmed the comment section with additional love for both Griffith and Hedren. Griffith's ex-husband whom she split in 2015 also commented on the post, saying, "Love for both of you ladies."

The 'Working Girl' star loves sharing special moments of her life on her social media as she shared a series of snaps recapping her Thanksgiving weekend. In the pictures, Griffith can be seen linking arms with her family as they posed for a group photo along a sunset. The slideshow also features Griffith's extended family including former husband Don Johnson. "A bunch of family moments. Grateful for each one of them. Laughter, memories, and love. Scroll left," she wrote in the caption.
Last week, the 'Milk Money' actress wished one of her best pals Jamie Lee Curtis on her birthday via her social media. Griffith shared an image of young Curtis sporting a zebra print one-piece. The Instagram post included another snap of the 64-year-old actress in a black swimsuit as she looked flawless.
